South Dakota Appears ready to go after doctors, not mothers. Assuming 'no brainer' status for anything has never been prudent. What's a no-brainer for some isn't for me - and vice versa. I guarantee there are people out there in positions of power who would not grant clemency or pardons for victims of rape or incest.IMO, even in those states, I have to question if they would really prosecute the exceptional cases. So "no brainer" cases like rape & incest pregnancies. Would a prosecutor go ahead in pressing charges? Would a judge convict? And would a governor not grant clemency if she were convicted?
